Brenda Dinorah González
Brenda is a kid at heart, she followed her dream of becoming a teacher and graduated from Eastern Michigan University. She teaches 2nd and 3rd grade in a Spanish Immersion multi-age classroom in Ypsilanti, Mi. Throughout her Masters program she researched migrant farm-workers stories and books, they all seemed melancholy and sorrowful; this is when she decided to share her own stories of adventure as a migrant child and began writing Mis Aventuras. It wasn't always sad, for her it was the best time of her life! González lives in Ypsilanti, with her husband and daughter Paloma.
